Thermocouple Assembly 5" Type S

An S-type thermocouple is most often used for tighter accuracy in high firing kilns. S-Type thermocouples typically last longer than K-type thermos because they are made with higher temp wire and their sheaths are made of stronger ceramic materials.

Thermocouple (temperature sensor), S-type. For kilns with walls thicker than 3". The thermocouple is made in the U.S. with American-made components to exacting standards. The “special limit” thermocouple wire is certified to be close tolerance. Part#PY66
